Ross/Ike Memorial Dog Park

Ike Memorial Dog Park was originally founded as the Ross Dog Park. The name changed in 2016 in memorial to local K-9 officer Ike.

Located adjacent to the BPA Ross Complex, Ike Memorial Dog Park is nearly 12 acres of off-leash fields and hills. Site parking is available in the lot to the West of the park. The West entrance (located on NE 15th St) in the lower section has two entry gates: One into the main Park and a second providing direct access to the Small Dog Area. The East entrance (located on NE 18th St) in the upper section is for handicapped users only and requires a key for entry.

Dog Park Rules:

Dogs must be leashed at all times outside of Dog Parks. It’s the law & benefits Parks!
Dogs must be vaccinated and licensed. It’s the law & benefits Parks!
Scoop the poop. It’s the law & benefits Parks!
Dangerous dogs are not permitted in the Parks. See what Clark County defines as a
“dangerous dog”.

Everyone has a bad day! If your normally good dog keeps acting aggressively, we recommend the dog be leashed and removed by the owner.

Keep dogs away from gates. This reduces anxiety and conflict when others are entering/exiting.

All dogs must be spayed or neutered.
Keep dogs off-leash unless absolutely necessary. On-leash dogs can cause aggressive
behavior.

Do not let dogs dig holes, this is dangerous for dog and people. Fill all holes your dog digs.

Children must be attended at all times. Running/screaming can trigger a dog’s prey instinct.

Keep walking - moving keeps the Park neutral territory.
Choke, prong, and spike collars are not allowed for safety.
